🎃👻 Halloween is just around the corner so here's a roundup of some fantastic family-friendly Halloween events to get you into the spooky spirit! ðŸ‘»ðŸŽƒ

1. Lullymore Heritage Park - 21st October to 3rd November

Get ready for NINE days of their infamous Halloween Happenings at Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park!

You'll encounter a range of eerie experiences, including Haunted Holograms, heart-pounding Terror Train Trips (beware of Zombie Attacks!), spine-tingling Terror Treasure Hunts, and freaky fun throughout the park. Costumes are optional, but why not embrace the spirit of the season?

Note: Online booking is essential. The Terror Train Trip might not be suitable for younger children, so parental discretion is advised.

2. Irish National Stud & Gardens - 29th October to 2nd November

Enjoy a fun-filled experience for all the family at the Irish National Stud & Gardens over Halloween.

Between 11 AM and 3 PM, engage in and explore our themed activities, including arts and crafts workshops, captivating circus shows, spooky storytelling sessions, and much more. Additionally, there will be giant games and other fun activities guaranteed to captivate the youngsters. Be sure to plan for a full day out, allocating around 4 to 5 hours to fully immerse yourself in the experience.

3. Kildare Farm Foods Open Farm & Shop - 28th to 31st October

Halloween Spooktacular October 28th, 29th, 30th & 31st. Take part in a fancy-dress event with a prize for the best dressed family. Experience the spooky Halloween rollercoaster, ghostly train ride, enchanted scarecrow woodland walk, 18 holes of indoor crazy golf, and their new organic pumpkin village.

4. Russborough House - 28th to 31st October

Get ready to scream! This October from the 28th to the 31st, the Dark Maze at Russborough is back, bigger, better and scarier than ever hosting a fright night you won’t forget! Don’t miss ROGU Firestorm opening night with their fire performance the 28th October at 6.30pm.

The immersive experience offers slots to book from 5pm to 6pm (for younger more sensitive spooks) and 6pm to 9pm each day; ensuring the cover of darkness will be there to add an extra layer of mystery.

Brave ticket-holders will be invited to enter their ominously decked out Dark Maze to discover what spooky surprises lay in store with scare inducing lights and creepy decor. To truly set the scene, creepy soundscapes will also echo throughout, instilling a sense of dread as you tip toe around corners and dodge the lunges of characters who seemingly emerge from nowhere.

 

5. Clonfert Pet Farm - 21st to 31st October 

This Halloween Clonfert Pet Farm has a fantastic family fun event in store. Including Pumpkin Patch, Fun Fair, Haunted House, and lots more. One of the best places to have fun whilst picking your own pumpkin, ready for carving for the big night. This popular event runs from Saturday 21st to Tuesday 31st October 2023.
