What time is check-in?

Check in is from 4pm daily. Unfortunately, we currently cannot offer an earlier check in time, as we are particularly busy and extra cleaning time is required to adhered to current cleaning standards.

 

What time is check-out?

Check Out is strictly 12noon. 

3D Secure Prompt Payment

Under new SCA (Strong Customer uthentication) guidelines all online transactions are now mandated to use 3DS2 (with sime exceptions for smaller amounts). 3DS2 has been introduced to improve the online payment experience while still protecting the merchant from card fraud. As a result, you will notice that you will now always need a unique code provided by their card issuer to successfully complete a transaction. 

Different card issuers will have different ways of delivering the code to you for them to authenticate the transaction. Normally, the bank will send you a code via SMS which they can easily input, or you will be presented with a seperate screen that you will have to passs through to complete the payment process. 

However, if you have not received a code or anyother way to authenticate, this could be due to your bank having outdated details such as an incorrect phone number, or perhaps there is a problem with the text not delivering to the user's phone. You should contact your card issuer for further guidance & update details where necessary.

(This only applies for EEA-based merchnats with EEA-based customers. So if the user paying the request is outside of this region this will not affect the payment flow.)

When is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served in The Pippin Tree Restaurant Monday to Fridayfrom 7.00am to 10.30am/Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday 7am-11am. Bookings are not required for breakfast.

 

Do I have to book the swimming pool?

No, hotel guests have full use of our Leisure Centre for our full hours: 6:30am-9:30pm. However, children are only permitted to use the facilities between the hours of 9:30am-6:45pm.

*Should the gym or pool be particularly busy at the time a guest may wish to use the facilities, we may ask you to return a little later. 

Do you have a playground?

Yes, we a do have a playground. Our playground is in our woodlands, located at the back of the hotel. As you go down the fountain gardens walkway, the playground is located on the left-hand side. (Just across from the teddy bear picnic house).

Do you have family rooms?

Our family rooms at Killashee Hotel have two double beds in the room. These spacious rooms are ideal for a family break away. We have camp beds as well as cots to cater for all family sizes.

We do have a limited number of extra-large family rooms with two double beds & 1 single bed. Please note to book an extra-large family room this must be done directly with the reservations department. There is an extra cost for the larger rooms.

How far are you from Kildare Village?

We are a 15–20-minute drive from Kildare Village.

When at the hotel, make sure to get your 10% discount code from reception before you head off shopping for the day. 

Do you allow pets at the hotel?

We allow guide dogs only at the hotel.

Do you have free car parking?

Yes we have free car parking here at Killashee Hotel.

Do you have electric car charge facility?

Yes, we have two electric charging stations at the hotel. We have partnered with EasyGo to provide our guests with access to two fast chargers on our property. Our EasyGo charging Point ID is IE*EGO0193-02. Please see the link for instructions on how to setup a Prepay or Pay as you Go account to use these chargers as they are a pay per use service.

We have also provided four normal 220 volt 13 amp sockets where you can plug in your own car charging cable as you would at home for a free slower charge option.
