The Bistro at Killashee has won Hotel Restaurant of the Year 2022 and Killashee was also shortlisted for an additional 3 awards. We are very delighted to have been shortlisted for three awards. Our Terrace Restaurant and Bistro have been shortlisted for “Hotel Restaurant of the Year”, our Executive Head Chef, Phillip Gleeson, has been shortlisted for the “Chef of the Year”, we’ve been shortlisted for “Front of House Team of the Year” and our chef George Lowen has been shortlisted for "young chef of the year". Our menu’s offer modern Irish cuisine and has been carefully crafted, celebrating the finest local ingredients. The Terrace Restaurant is a beautifully bright and spacious dining room over-looking the stunning Fountain Gardens while the Bistro provides wonderfully relaxed surroundings.

When speaking to Executive Head Chef Phillip Gleeson about the news, he said how he is honoured to have not only himself nominated, but the restaurant as whole. Phillip has been a part of the Killashee family now for over 11 years and says being nominated for awards like these wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for the outstanding fresh produce provided by local suppliers.
