The Killashee Social Competition, the hotel promotion, is open to all residents of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland aged 18 and over except employees of the promoter, their families, employees of any associated companies or agents, and anyone professionally involved with this promotion.
The competition is organised and administered by Killashee Hotel.
All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition. Using a false name or address will result in disqualification.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win.
Entry into the competition shall be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please print a copy of this page to retain the terms and conditions for your records.
To enter: users must become a fan of the Killashee Hotel Facebook/Instagram page and enter their details in the mandatory fields inlcuding thier name, email and secret word. Only one entry per person using the each secret word will be valid. There is five unique secret words. If a user does not have a Facebook/Instagram account, they cannot enter the competition.
The promotion opens on Tuesday 3rd May 2022 and closed on Friday 13th May 2022 and the winner will be announced on Friday 13th May 2022.
The prize is non-transferable and is to be used by the registered prize winner. No cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize will consist of a midweek (Sunday-Thursday) overnight stay, bed, breakfast & afternoon tea for two people sharing (valid from May 2022 to December 2022 Only, Subject to Availability, Not valid on a Sunday of a Bank Holiday weekend.)
The winner will be notified either on Facebook/Instagram only within 24 hours of the closing date by the hotel's offical social page. The winner must contact Killashee Hotel to claim their prize within 5 days of the date of the winner annoucement that they have won. If the winner does not claim their prize within this timescale, Killashee reserves the right to offer the prize to an alternative person who has entered the competition. Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements or these terms and conditions may result in forfeit of the prize.
Entries must not contain anything which is calculated to bring Killashee or its associated companies into disrepute or that in any way violates applicable laws and regulations or network standards.
Killashee Hotel reserves the right to change, alter and/or withdraw this competition, including the prizes, at any time, for any reason. If the competition is cancelled a notice will be published on the Killashee Hotel Facebook and Instagram Page.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name, photograph and will co-operate with any other reasonable requests by the hotel relating to any post-winning publicity.
Killashee Hotel is entitled to remove any user-generated content from the Killashee Hotel’s Facebook account immediately and without notice if a user is in breach of these terms and conditions, are instructed to do so by any third party or if Killashee, in its sole and absolute discretion, is concerned by any content provided. Users are solely responsible for creating back-up copies of any content submitted. All entries must be submitted no later Friday 13th May 2022.
Killashee Hotel accepts no responsibility for any difficulty entrants may experience in navigating the Killashee Hotel’s Facebook or Instagram page, or any other social media channels.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries which are invalid, incomplete, illegible, lost or delayed in transit, or which fail to be properly submitted. Proof of sending does not constitute proof of receipt.
Incomprehensible, inappropriate and incomplete entries (as determined by Killashee Hotel) will be deemed invalid. Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. Killashee Hotel retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
Entrants are solely responsible for the information they provide and views they express on the Hotel’s Facebook account. Killashee Hotel is not responsible for the user-generated content provided and does not endorse any user-generated views expressed on the web site. Competition Terms and Conditions
Killashee Hotel reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of email address or proof of entry validity in order to claim the prize. Proof of identification, email and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the hotel. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
