We understand the importance and peace of mind each of our guests need to feel comfortable during their stay in Killashee. We recognize that the COVID-19 virus has required all of us to be more mindful as we go through our daily activities. Our hotel’s Health and Safety Measure’s are our guarantee to you that we are prepared to safely welcome you back.

Over the past few months, we have been busily working behind the scenes preparing Killashee for re-opening and setting up our new health & safety procedures so we can ensure a safe environment for our team & guests. We are delighted to say that our Hotel is now open for guests including the Terrace Restaurant, the Leisure Centre & the Spa.

We have passed the Fáilte Ireland's Prevention Control for Tourism Business and are fully compliant with the Fáilte Ireland COVID-19 Safety Charter.

As we resume operations, the health and wellbeing of our guests, employees and communities will remain our highest priority. We will remain vigilant and continue to follow relevant guidelines from health authorities around cleaning and disinfecting procedures to ensure a safe and warm welcome back so you can continue to enjoy Killashee with peace of mind.

In preparation, we have issued our 'Keeping you Safe' Programme of Health and Safety Measure’s which includes detailed Health & Safety procedures developed by us, in line with HSE, Government, and Irish Hotel Federation guidelines so that we along with our guests and suppliers can all adapt the hospitality’s ‘new normal’. Please be aware some measures will be noticeable throughout the hotel while many back-of-house measures will go unnoticed but please be assured have still been implemented.

We are also working with a number of companies to help fight the spread of Covid-19 and assist us with our new cleaning protocols. Elite Maintenance allow us to protect our guests, visitors and staff by using an Electrostatic Disinfectant spray both internally and externally. All linens and towels are provided to Killashee by Celtic Linen which is of the highest quality standard and they are a leading provider in Ireland for both the hospitality and healthcare business. Killashee is also working with Ecolab who provide solutions and expertise designed to keep all our guests, visitors and staff safe and healthy while ensuring proper cleaning and disinfecting protocol for environments, surfaces and facilities.

Guests traveling into Ireland

Current guidelines from The Irish Government are all international visitors need to restrict their movements (this means staying indoors and avoiding contact with other people and social situations as much as possible) for 14 days on arrival into the country. International Visitors will need to complete the COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form at the airport and supply the address they intend to spend these 14 days at and a contact number. For further information, please visit https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/e885b2-covid-19-coronavirus-travel-advice/#what-to-do-when-arriving-into-ireland and then review booking in light of the current guidelines.

At Killashee Hotel, the health & safety of our staff and guests is the utmost importance to us. For this reason, we unfortunately cannot accept any guests who travel directly into Ireland from abroad and/or guests who have not completed 14 days of restricting their movements prior to arriving to Killashee as we do not have self-isolation facilities onsite. In the interest of the health and safety of our employees and other guests unfortunately we will be unable to accept any such booking until government guidelines change

In the interests of safety for all our staff and guests, we would ask you to be equally vigilant and inform us if you feel anyway unwell or have been compromised before arriving to the hotel.

We want thank you for your continued support during these unprecedented times & we very much look forward to welcoming you all back to Killashee
