1. Irish Tree Hunt

Collect your activity sheet at our hotel reception and explore our gardens to find a variety of common beautiful trees. This fun activity is available for all children visiting the hotel. 

2. Irish Wildlife & Heritage Workshop

This activity is available for all children visiting the hotel so just ask at reception for your activity sheet! Take an adventure through our gardens and work out which animals are nocturnal. 

3. The Killashee John Magory Wildlife Natural Trail

This was a very exciting project we undertook during the spring to have ready for the summer season. Emma Jane created bespoke Natural Trail throughout our estate here at Killashee. There are 6 short videos which can be accessed in various areas around the hotel estate. To find the QR code to unlock the videos, you must get your trail map at reception, start your wildlife adventure and follow the map to locate the Johnny Magory signs & QR codes. You will need your parent’s phone to scan the QR code to watch the video to leave a little about the 6 beautiful Irish animals that can be found on the hotel estate.

4. Bug Hunt 

The last activity is for children who are staying on our Family Fun Staycation Package only. At check-in, families request the Bug Jars and a Mini Magnifying Glass so that you can go on a bug hunt around the hotel grounds. Along with your bug jar & magnifying glass you will get your mini beast hunt sheet to know what to look for.
