Discover the thrill of Irish racing with an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience on the famous gallops of the Curragh Plains with leading Irish trainer Johnny Murtagh.
Your visit begins at Fox Covert Stables, where Johnny and his wife Orla will welcome you to their yard. From here. Guests will follow the horses across the Curragh by jeep, watching the morning exercise and gaining a fascinating insight into the daily training routine of Irelands renowned Thoroughbreds.
This special owner-for-a-day experience includes a tour of the yard, the opportunity to meet the horses and the dedicated team behind their care, and a chance to learn more about life at one of Irelands leading racing stables. The experience concludes with homemade refreshments with Johnny and Orla, enjoyed on the terrace or in the cosy kitchen by the Aga.
