Sponsorships

Sponsored an annual conference for KARE in the hotel worth €6k. Kare is a voluntary organisation providing a comprehensive range of service for people with intellectual disabilities and their families.    

Kilcullen GAA – Field of Dreams fundraiser – purchased a Killashee sign at the pitch, 2 year sponsorship agreement worth €600

Lions AFC – Durrow – 3 year sponsorship agreement – worth €900

Volunteering

In partnership with Nass Tidy Town annual clean up initiative of Naas town with the team of Volunteers from the hotel.

Community Employment

KARE – working on a project of supported employment – traineeship for students with disabilities for 4 people from KARE to starting in January 2026.

KARE has been involved in supported employment since 1993, with over 150 adults with Intellectual Disabilities now working in mainstream work environment. Killashee has been chosen by KARE as a partner for Project search as its one of the largest employers in the area. Killashee has capacity to offer wide variety of traineeship opportunities to project participations providing them with lots of scope to learn new tasks.

Killashee Hotel’s 2025 CSR model demonstrates a holistic approach to responsible business practices, integrating environmental stewardship and community involvement.

Health and Wellbeing

Organised a 40 days fitness challenge through Strava group – promoting healthy lifestyle and movement every day for 40 days in the run up to Dublin City Marathon that our General Manager was participating in.

Organized a weekly fitness class for staff to attend in LC – including HIIT, Pump and Spin Class

Diversity and Inclusion

In 2025 we have successfully achieved investors in Diversity bronze award with Irish center of diversity.

Killashee Hotel won Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Award at the Kildare Business Awards 2024 which were presented by County Kildare Chamber.
