"We originally contacted Killashee to ask for a deal on bedrooms for our international guests as we were planning on a small wedding locally in a small restaurant. The team were so nice and accommodating when inquiring about rooms only, that I chanced my arm and asked if they had any wedding availability for the date we were originally planning the wedding dinner. They said they had availability, were flexible on the number requirements and offered an excellent price! From that moment on, everyone I dealt with made it so so easy and enjoyable to get the room booked, arrange accommodation, decide on food, wine, table layouts, the whole lot. They were excellent to deal with. On the weekend of the wedding, I can't express how impressed I was with the service. I'm usually very very critical of Irish service standards but wow was I blown away. I couldn't fault anyone. Instead I was being surprised and impressed during every interaction. From the initial check in for my immediate guests and my wife and I, to the interactions we had with general staff in the restaurant and bar and swimming pool. Everyone naturally went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable, not knowing we were wedding guests, which I was very impressed with because it meant this was how everyone gets treated at Killashee, regardless of whether they're a wedding guest or not. Then there was the food.... incredible ! Both my wife and I are big into our food. It was one of the most important elements of our day and we didn't have to worry about a thing! The team done an excellent job at the preparation, presentation and it tasted exactly how it should have. The reception, the evening nibbles and then the main meal itself. It was delicious! As a couple getting married, we felt special from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Our meal was delayed because we were delayed with photos and a few things but the hosts were really cool about it. They were flexible and adjusted on the day without any fuss. They really went beyond to make sure we never felt there was a problem with anything. So overall, how can I summarise my review of Killashee as a wedding venue? It was a magical experience made possible by the fabulous building and grounds, excellent facilities, five star food and a focus on service and experience I thought disappeared from Ireland long ago. Brilliant people and a brilliant venue. Go for it !"

"We had the most amazing day on our wedding day in the stunning kilashee hotel, from the moment we viewed the venue we fell in love with it. The venue, the decor, the staff, the rooms and the beds are all top quality. The bed was so comfy and all our guests said the same about their beds. All of our guests loved the venue and food also. The grounds of the hotel are stunning also especially for photography's. I would also like to give a huge mention and thank you to Finella and Elaine from the wedding team, they were so accommodating, welcoming and just went above and beyond to make sure our day was amazing."

"We were blown away by the excellent advice and help given to us by the wedding planning department at Killashee House Hotel, from first meeting at the RDS wedding exhibition the team were so helpful whereas other hotel's were not interested in us as we were an older couple getting married (70’s). We loved the accommodation everything was perfect the rooms, the beds so comfortable, particularly in the old part of the hotel, so very romantic and yet very warm and welcoming. Everything Finnella the Wedding Organiser said she would do was done instantly. Her help with getting musicians and menu sorted as well as flowers was such a relief, we had a very short time frame to get everything done, we hardly had to worry about anything. If we did not want certain things she did not push it, but if we did forget she would give us a gentle reminder. The ceremony room was wonderful, the hotel supplied everything needed we just supplied the candles, and Finnella’s help and support on the day was perfect. We loved the wedding breakfast the next morning, we had it in the main breakfast room surrounded by family and friends, and had another toast with champagne, we were spoilt rotten, by the care and attention given to us, all our guests commented that the breakfast was never ending and all were looked after by the friendly and helpful staff"

"The Killashee staff were absolutely amazing. They couldn't have done more for us. We were extremely happy with the service, the food, the venue. We had the best day and they had a huge part to play in this. We met Marion on our first show around the hotel a year before and she was always so assuring. I was delighted to see her on the day of our wedding, she was a Godsend, she really makes you feel taken care of and nothing is too much trouble. Jemma was brilliant throughout, she was very responsive and accomodating of our requests. I would recommend Killashee if you want excellent, professional service. Thank you."

"We had our intimate family wedding in the Killashee Hotel and we had the most magical day. The wedding team was amazing to deal with from the first viewing of the venue to our final details meeting. The team made us feel like the most important people throughout the whole planning process and on our special day. Every detail on the day was perfect, everyone spoke so highly of the venue, staff and food. Even our two little girls were made feel like princesses for the day. We loved our day and wish we could do it all over again"
