The course is very easy to access from major road National Road Networks, Ports & Dublin Airport and with free parking for up to 17,000 cars you will have no problem parking at the racecourse itself.
The Festival
Punchestown is best known for its iconic annual festival — the jewel of the Irish National Hunt Season. Usually held in April, The Punchestown Festival spans five exhilarating days from Tuesday to Saturday, drawing top-class horses, jockeys, and racing fans from across Ireland and beyond. Often referred to as the Irish equivalent of the Cheltenham Festival, it follows a similar format, combining world-class racing with a vibrant social scene.
This much-anticipated event is the highlight of the racing calendar and our favourite week of the year. During festival week, the hotel, Naas town, Punchestown, and the surrounding areas come alive in full celebratory swing, offering an unbeatable atmosphere both on and off the track.
